A small studio that stays close to the work.
We started One17 in 2019 because most software teams were being handed off between a design agency, a dev shop, and a marketer who'd never met either. We build all three disciplines in-house, on one team, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Twelve people, one studio, no account managers.
Every project is run by the people actually doing the design and engineering work — not passed through a layer of account managers. It keeps projects faster to move through and easier to course-correct, because the person you're talking to is the person building it.
We work with early-stage founders building their first product and established teams replacing something that's stopped scaling. Different starting points, same discipline.
How we work
The principles that shape every engagement, not just the pitch deck.
Show the work weekly
You see progress every week, not a reveal at the end. Fewer surprises, faster course-corrections.
Design and build together
Designers and engineers sit on the same project from day one, so what gets designed is what actually ships.
Say no to scope that doesn't serve the goal
We'd rather ship a smaller thing that solves the real problem than a bigger thing that doesn't.
Leave you able to run it
Documentation, handoff, and training are part of the project — not an afterthought at the end.
The team
The people you'll actually be working with.
